Posted by Allanah King

Mrs. King wrote about The Advisory Board in The Horizon Report, a group of leading educators who gather their knowledge and expertise to predict what education will go in the near future to the future. They identified that students will bring their own mobile devices and apps in common to learn, that more classes will use online class, hybrid learning, and collaborative models, that students can connect to the world via internet, and that students can learn and study whenever and wherever they want. She introduced technology tools in this video.

This video shows more detailed information about the following:
Near Term Horizon:
Mobile devices and apps
Tablet computing
Mid Term Horizon:
Game-based learning
Personal Learning Environments
Far Term Horizon:
Augmented Reality
Natural User Interfaces

This video shows k-12 students are learning and studying by the use of each technology above. The students in this video enjoyed learning and using the technology tools such as iPad, computers, iPod touch, and tablet. I  am looking forward to coming such future sooner and I think I have to master these technology to teach my students in the future.
